No. Verification and role assignments are stored separately by server. A user can use the same Very account for multiple servers, but each requires a separate verification.
Yes. VeryBot links a single palm to a single account, which prevents a user from having multiple accounts in protected channels. It does not prevent alt accounts from existing within a server overall, but by putting most channels behind a VeryBot check it can prevent ban evasion and alt accounts.
VeryBot is designed to automatically set roles once a user is registered; this is how VeryBot prevents protected channels from being viewed. It needs the following permissions:

- • Send Messages, including in configured threads where applicable
- • Embed Links
- • Manage Roles
- • Read Message History for some edit/removal and legacy configurations
- • Use Application/Slash Commands
VeryBot is an in-app tool. It does not:
- • Verify humans outside of a server. VeryBot can only be used within platforms like Discord. It cannot be used outside of those platforms (for example, on a community’s actual website). For more bespoke solutions, check out Very’s user verification or liveness detection.
- • Share raw biometric data. VeryBot only sends the community platform a pass or fail.
- • Collect identifying documents. Very is a biometrics solution, not a KYC provider. It only creates palm models that are linked to accounts, not real-life identities.
- • Live entirely within a server. VeryBot requires users to verify with the Very app.
- • Block messages within a channel itself. VeryBot prevents spam by locking channels behind human verification. It’s not an in-line spam blocker once the users have been admitted.
