Meet the new Very
Very's accelerating growth is now enhanced with a brand refresh.
Very has grown quite a bit in the last few months. Now, our brand is growing with it.
The most difficult problems we face on the internet today, like spam, fraud, and agent governance, are uncharted territory. Their difficulty is what makes them worth solving. We believe that the answer is a new, modern solution: a lightweight human verification layer.
Very gives platforms highly-scalable ways to authenticate real users and their agents. Using smartphone-based palm biometrics, Very protects social platforms from spam, fintechs from fraud, and communities from being overrun with malicious bots.
This is why we’ve gone to Very, from VeryAI. The new name, logo, website, and brand design reflect the growing importance of user verification to an increasingly agentic internet and our growth as a company. Read on for more.
Why we’re refreshing our brand
Very is accelerating. Since coming out of stealth and announcing our seed round in March, we’ve grown exponentially:
- Usage is growing. In August 2026, Very passed 1 million total verifications. Today, only three months later, we’ve completed over 8 million.
- Yesterday, November 4, we scanned nearly 550,000 palms, our highest-ever raw volume in a single day.
- We’ve shipped new products, like Liveness Detection, Know Your Agent, and VeryBot.
With this expansive growth, our brand needs a modern refresh of our name, logo, and identity. It’s one that reflects the core of what Very does: Keeping the internet for real people.
Our new brand is coming alongside a new website. You’ll still find the same information that was here before with a fresh coat of paint, but also much more: Use cases, more detailed comparisons between Very and other authentication options. Soon, you’ll start seeing more resources, not just about Very, but guides to the rapidly-changing verification landscape.
You’ll also start seeing a new, updated user experience within Very’s app and products. Expect a friendlier design and smoother experience for users to verify.
What hasn’t changed
Most everything besides our new name, logo and look remain the same.
The core technology behind Very remains the same. We still use palm biometrics to protect platforms from spam, fraud, and malicious automated activity, and remain among the most accurate biometric methods.
Our products still verify real people, even if newer versions will have a new look and feel. Platforms can still use Liveness Detection to determine if a user is a person or not without collecting any unique information. User Verification can be used to confirm that a user taking an action is the same one who registered the account. Know Your Agent can link agents to real, registered users.
For platforms that already use any Very product (like Liveness Detection or VeryBot), your integrations will continue to work, although we suggest updating to the latest SDK for the best user experience.
Our display names will change, but you can still find us @VeryAI on X, @getveryai on Instagram, and LinkedIn. Our customer support email address will still be support@very.org.
We’re excited about this new chapter. More to come soon.
Stop spam. Prevent fraud. Verify people.
Very.
FAQs
Is Very a new company?
No. Very and VeryAI are the same company, just with a new name.
Will users notice a change?
Users will see a change when a platform updates to the latest version of the Very app or Very SDK. When they do, they’ll see the new Very name, logo, and brand, but their user experience will otherwise be the same.
Is pricing changing?
Pricing will remain the same. Check out the full Very pricing for the latest pricing information.
Will existing integrations keep working?
Yes, existing integrations and tools will keep working.
For developers: API endpoints, SDK package names, and webhook domains will stay the same, as will the VeryID format and other back-end information. For the latest, consult Very’s documentation.
Why did VeryAI change its name to Very?
As we’ve grown, we decided that removing the AI from the name better reflects what Very does. It removes confusion about what the company does, as we are a verification company, not an agent. It also better matches our URL.
Will I still see the new VeryAI name in some places?
Developers may see the VeryAI name in the back end. Users may see it if a partner is using an old version of the SDK, or they are using an old version of the app.
You might also occasionally see VeryAI come up instead of Very when searching or using an agent. It can take a while for these tools to catch up!
